Plans change. This page explains how cancellations and refunds work for direct bookings at Hideaway Villa, Karjat.
How to cancel
Cancellations must be made in writing — a WhatsApp message or an email to the number and address listed on our contact page is sufficient. The cancellation takes effect from the time we receive and acknowledge it, not from the time it was sent.
Refund schedule
For direct bookings, refunds on the advance paid are calculated from the scheduled check-in date:
- More than 30 days before check-in — full refund of the advance, less any payment gateway charges.
- 15 to 30 days before check-in — 50% of the advance refunded.
- Less than 15 days before check-in — the advance is not refundable.
- No-show or early departure — no refund, and the full stay is chargeable.
Date changes
A single date change may be permitted at no charge if requested more than 30 days before check-in, subject to availability and any difference in seasonal rate. Requests closer to the date are treated as a cancellation.
Peak periods
Long weekends, public holidays, New Year and other peak dates may carry their own advance and cancellation terms. Where they do, those terms are confirmed to you in writing at the time of booking and take precedence over the schedule above.
Bookings made through other platforms
If you booked through an online travel agency or another platform, that platform's cancellation policy applies and any refund must be processed through them.
Refund processing
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 to 10 working days of confirmation. Bank or gateway charges, where applicable, are deducted.
Events outside anyone's control
If the stay cannot go ahead because of extreme weather, a natural event, government restrictions or similar circumstances beyond either party's control, we will work with you on a credit or a rescheduled stay rather than applying the schedule above.
